Vocabulary challenge CC

This week for chapter chat I did vocabulary the words I had to investigate was:
Carburettor, Logical, Adhere, Illogical, Hypothesised and invertebrates.
It was pretty hard to find out what the words mean but I found out what they mean and they mean pretty cool things. A carburetor is a device that mixes air and fuel. Logical means it describes something that comes from clear reasoning. Adhere means stick like if something adheres it sticks to something. Illogical means causing a particular part of an argument before then presenting it as an entirely individual or separate position, or using a very early form of theory to support a case while ignoring the fully developed. Hyposiesed means a proposed explanation for a phenomenon. Last but not least invertebrates, invertebrates is an animal without a backbone or a bony skeleton and they range in size from microscopic mites to giant squid with soccer ball eyes.

  1. Well done, Amy. Remember that you don't need to put your vocabulary words into your blog description as you have already done it as your task. When you are researching the definition please make sure that you put it into your own words.
