Des Hunt

This week for my book buzz I did pick & mix research centre. The research I did this week was on Des hunt and his life, like his early life his major accomplishments and some interesting facts about him it, was great to find out more about him and his life and how his life was when he was younger and how his life relates to the story we are reading Where Cuckoos Call.

Totara springs camp

Next week (week 11) whetu is going on camp!!

I am mostly looking forward to the campfire we are having on Tuesday night because I can get warm and cosey but if you ask me what day time activity I am most looking forward to it would be the flying fox because I love being in the air and feeling like I'm flying.

I am a little nervous about staying there overnight because I don't know what it's going to be like how the cabins are and how it's going feel away from ngatea and my house.

How I will use our learning powers,

Being Me: I will use being me as being kind and being myself around others.
Creativity: I will use creativity in groups at camp doing creative things and finding a way.
Curiosity: I will use curiosity in activities don't know and be curious to try them.
Connecting: I will connect with people I don't usually hang out with and get to know them better
Resilience: I will use resilience as never giving up in challenges and giving everything a try.

I hope I am in a cabin with Alice, Melissa, Teana.
